ISIS and Abortion

Abortion’s the terrorism
Polluting our land,
Abortion our Isis
We must take a stand.

Babies are dying,
We’re not doing enough
To stop the massacre,
It’s time to get tough.

So many have died
For  women’s so called rights,
They’re deaths barbaric
And done in plain sight.

Isis burns their victims in cages,
Abortionist’s burn with saline;
Isis beheads helpless people,
Defenceless babies dismemberd, obscene.

It’s time for brave soldiers
To fight from their knees
And cry out for the unborn
And to God send their pleas.

It’s we who’ve abandoned
These poor innocent lives,
Our silence is deafening
To Satan’s cruel lies.

Every life is a treasure,
Not just those we can see,
Life begins at conception
Let’s act like we believe.

Turn your back on the helpless,
As history has shown,
God’s judgment has followed
He protects those we disown.

Gods anger is slow
But his judgment is sure,
As justice rolls down,
His vengeance is pure.

God sent Moses
When He heard Israel’s cries;
He sent Dr. King
To end segregation’s lies.

The bush is still burning,
If we’d open our eyes;
God’s calling His people
To step up and save lives.

About menmourningmoments

I'm happily married, the Father of 2 sons and 2 daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Death is all around us but somehow we've managed to distance ourselves from it. Men, Mourning, Moments is about how the death of my son awakened me to life & the desire to seize every moment as though it were my last. It's about making sense of life in the good times and bad and allowing GOD to carry me and teach me through the hard times in life.

    I recall, long ago, meeting at your house one early morning with a group of people going downtown to the abortion clinic. I think I was along mainly as the music component of playing guitar while we sang. I remember some large posters being brought up from your basement and being repulsed by what was on them. They had pictures of dismembered, aborted babies on them. I thought, is that really necessary? Why shock people like that? Is this guy crazy? But I came to realize that you were just bringing to the light what abortion mills would like to be hidden. It didn’t make it more graphic and brutal because you had the pictures. It already was graphic and brutal and we all needed to face up to that fact, not be shielded from it.

  2. Thanks for your thoughts and input. Sorry but I don’t remember the day you’re talking about but, then again, there are lots of things I don’t remember. Thanks again.
